You’ll start your journey through the depths of the ocean in the Bay of Rays. Here you will find an assortment of amazing creatures that are native to the UK including Thornback Rays and Bull Huss Sharks! Then head off to the other side of the world in the Great Barrier Reef zone, with some of the most colourful creatures you will find under the sea.

Then it’s time to head above the waterline as we get to experience the interactive Turtle Rescue centre, then be amused by the lovable penguins and cheeky otters.

Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary is home to Yorkshire’s only Seal Hospital. You’ll be able to follow the journey of the injured Seals through their rescue from local coastal waters, through rehabiliation and eventually release back into the wild! The centre is also home to 4 male seals in the Seal Pool , each with their own unique story for living at the attraction, make sure you attend the Seal talk to find out them all.

The amazing Ocean Tunnel holds 156,000 litres of natural seawater and is home to an array of different colourful species of fish as well as the majestic Loggerhead sea turtle, Antiopi.

All this and lots more to see, do and learn about.
